For the past 9 years I have made my collection of essays available for free on my website. Much has changed and evolved over that time... little did I know when I started that my free weekly newsletter would reach over 72 countries.

The twin developments of the recent behavior of record companies and the explosion of file-sharing across the Internet led me to the conclusion that the business model of the entertainment industry was broken. Therefore, in 2003, I decided to try a new approach, or perhaps a very old one. Since 2003, and hopefully continuing into the future, I will continue to provide all of my music, including over the coming months, my latest recordings, available for free downloading.

This year, 2006, another way of reaching my audience emerged... video, both for my music, and soon for my spoken-word essays. To help me to be able to keep doing these, listeners just need to click on the ad at the end of the videos. Video costs me gasoline for my car to get to locations to film, plus film for the camera, etc. Once again, the free model is in play... it costs and obligates my fans to nothing, and, although the click provides just pennies to me, I think of them as "Pennies from Heaven":), because they will help, God willing, to eventually, over time, bring in income to help me keep this site going.

Yes, that's right, you can come to the website, read the essays, read the quotes, and download my music, and see my videos, all for free.
