During Church services, before the Gospel of Jesus Christ is read, the congregation always sings a melody with the word “Alleluia” in it. To me it means the celebration of Jesus….and so I wrote my own “Alleluia”, in honor of Him.

One Way Ticket was written as I was thinking about all the immigrants who have had to pull up all their roots to move to another country, sometimes with no hope or chance of ever returning to their homeland, for whatever reason. I mention how in dreams they can still feel “a million miles away from here.”

The Universal Laugh was written as a tribute to the “Cosmic Joke,” meaning, if you really pull back and look at it, Life can seem like a huge comedy that we all partake in!
