I am voting for the man with the most Faith, because I believe a spiritual foundation is necessary for a house to survive.
Journal
Well, I haven’t written for quite awhile….had to finish the CD, “Peace in the Valley,” and take care of some other things in my life. Am pleased with the album. It is finally a “finished product!” I love finishing things. Was watching the fourth of July Celebration on television that took place in Washington DC last night, and heard a wonderful singer for the first time…Yolanda Adams. God Bless her….and the many spirits of America that still give hope to those who struggle.
The leaves are beginning to grow on the trees, and the daffodils are smiling in the yard….I absolutely love Spring!!
The human experience is the most painful of all…having a human body. Can you imagine what it must be like to shed the body, like taking off a cloak, and one day being part of God and the Universe again?
Sometimes I just want to sit back, put up my feet, and watch a good DVD….tonight it’s going to be “Master and Commander”…Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum (ha!)
With all the sadness in the world, it’s very important to remember to experience Joy. Without it, we can’t give back and change the world….it is Joy that changes the world, for the better:)
With so many diverse opinions in the world, with regard to almost everything, I think that if we could try to get a “birds-eye” view once in a while, literally envision ourselves above our planet looking down, then maybe we could see ourselves as part of one big whole…that we are all in this thing together, whether we like it or not. It is not about “May the best man win.” If any of us loses, we all lose.
Been working on a new recording, and took a break to do some more basement clearing, from my past move. It is scary how much “stuff” one can accumulate!!!
The love between a parent and child must be similar to the love that God feels for all the human race….if that is the case, then there is still hope for mankind:)
Put up Rock of Ages,….pleased with the way it turned out. Recording a song a month is hectic, but I have heard that the Beatles used to put out a new single every two months…how exciting that must have been for their fans!!! What happened to those days?
