My heart goes out to the family of Les Paul…his son who managed his dad’s career so brilliantly, and to all those, like myself, who actually got to meet the man in person. I used to go to Fat Tuesdays in NYC to hear him play his guitar, and later, to Iridium. I wrote a song called  Silent Witness many years ago, in honor of Les’s beloved wife Mary Ford, who passed away many years before him. I got the chance to play it for him, and he was very touched and told me it was beautiful. Well, he was a beautiful spirit, and will be much missed. God Bless you Les, and now you are joined in Heaven with your Mary.
